The label from Marshall Field & Co dates to the 1940s and indicated Lingerie.
It was in the 1940s that Hanro gained popularity for it seamless circular knitting technique.
I also find it interesting that this was the look in Switzerland in the 1940s. Compared to the Old Hollywood look in the US.
Fabric is a super soft open knit.
Color is a powder blue.
Demure for the time.
