Mary McFadden cocktail dress
If you know Mary McFadden, you know her designs, even without the original label. I have seen this dress before in my past with the label intact but this one is missing.
Fabric on the bodice is a lush black velvet. Presents as an inky black.
Cut a bit fuller through the bodice with a pseudo-dolman sleeve.
Rounded shoulders with shoulder pads.
Long sleeves end in a zipper wrist.
Back zipper.
Skirt is that iconic Mary McFadden straight cut, unlined and pleated.
Lots of movement.
Classic and simple design is accented at the dropped waist with a bronzy gold cord band.
Excellent condition.
