Vintage 1960s linen coat, MR BLACKWELL CUSTOM Black linen silk combo Spring Dress coat
I call this "Mr Blackwell does grunge." Not at all the high glamour of his usual designs. Since it has the Custom label, I can imagine a client coming and asking for an everyday coat. And this is what she got.
Fabric is a medium weight "feels like" a linen / cotton blend. Lining is silk. Cut straight. One big button at center waist. Long sleeves with rolled up and buttoned cuffs. Fully lined in a fun geometric black and white silk. Comfy, full and loose.
Excellent condition.
