Dark and stormy vintage 1940s dressing gown from TULA'S Designer Collection.

This has got to be one of the most gorgeous dressing gowns I have come across. So many dressing gowns are bright and floral and happy. This one is a bit more moody.
Old Hollywood glam at it's finest!

Fabric is a shiny and iridescent (almost moire) satin that shimmers in the light and changes from red to black.
Black velvet collar, cuffs and pocket tabs.
Fitted bodice with one button front.
True waist with zipper up the front of the skirt to the waist.
Belt loops. We added the ribbon.
3/4 length sleeves with velvet turn up cuffs and pretty rhinestone buttons.
Full skirt with pleats in the front while smooth in the back.

Just amazing.

Very good condition. Cleaned and ready to wear. A number of repairs but still bewitching.
