Vintage Edwardian style silk nightgown slip dress,
pin tucks and lace babydoll night dress
When I first laid eyes on this piece, it rang as Edwardian with all it's amazing details.
Upon closer inspection, the workmanship is much more modern.
The Nanouchka label is a french brand that is no longer operating.
Fabric is silk and ivory floral tone on tone jacquard.
Amazing lace top with ribbon channel.
Gathered at the top and full through the body.
Pin tucks and french seaming.
Really beautiful.
Tough to date but the 70s was popular with a revival of romantic Edwardian designs.
Excellent condition.
