The construction is insane!
This must be one of her earliest pieces since she started her own house in 1949.
Irene Galitzine was heir to a Russian noble family, the designer Irene Galitzine became known throughout the world, with clients that included Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy.
The designer clothes of the Galitzine fashion house are preserved in several museums, including the Dress Museum in St. Petersburg, the Metropolitan in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Heavy structured linen dress in a beige-y oatmeal off white color would be perfect for any summer event.

Huge collar accents the front and around the back creating drama.
Button front as well as a side metal zipper.
Bodice is fitted with seaming and darts.

Skirt is cut and darted in a wiggle fashion with back walking pleat.
