Amazing 1920s dress in remarkable condition. Ready for your next Downton Abbey party, or would be right at home in a collection.
Was part of a collection that was folded up in a trunk. Probably why it is in as good of shape as it is.
Color is an inky black. Fabric has a bit of a shimmer so it catches the light.
Not silk. No fabric tags but feels like some sort of synthetic. Lightweight and a bit sheer.
White beading makes up the flowers while light brown beads make up the hip band and the accent design.
Long sleeves with snaps at the shoulders.
At each hip is a button with a double loop that hikes it up and gives the dress a bit of shape.
Really pretty piece.

Heavy.

Excellent condition - I have found no bead loss but there may be some because there is so much! Pattern is also kind of random which may camouflage any loss. Shoulder snaps are really tiny. May want sturdier snaps at the shoulders due to the weight.

Measures:
Meant to be worn loose and I wouldn't want to stress it out.
