FLOBERT 1930s 1940s FLORAL pink rose buds bias cut sheath slip dress and peignoir set
Flobert was formed in 1924 so I would guess this could be from the 30s or 40s.
The sweetest night set I've ever seen.
Fabric is a light and airy, sheer rayon. More crepey than slinky.
Color is the palest pink with scattered roses.
You don't find the florals very often, but they are my favorite!
Gown:
Fitted bodice with that iconic gathering under the bust, with a V neck.
Pretty insets of lace.
Wide straps.
Attached side ties to cinch the waist.
Smooth laying bias cut skirt with hem panels.
Robe:
The robe is tailored in the same rose fabric.
Lace insets at the front and the waist.
Five buttons at center waist.
Side ties cinch the waist in front or back.
Long cuffed sleeves.
Excellent condition. Clean and ready to go. Some discoloration on the metal buttons. See last pic for the ones on the sleeves.
