1980s glam White silver / gold beaded sheath dress,
peekaboo with illusion neckline
I have come across a number of these amazing gowns over the past 25 years.
From Carlota Alfaro, Haute Designer from Puerto Rico.
These dresses are so impeccably made, even 40 years later I cannot find any bead loss.
White background with silver and white beads.
Bodice is unlined, completely sheer and made only of mesh with very well placed beading.
Base layer on the skirt is a jersey knit with a mesh overlay that holds all the beading.
Fitted, body hugging cut.
Long sheer sleeves with same gorgeous beading.
Illusion top with beading at the neckline.
Side metal zipper to the waist with diagonal velcro across the lower back.
Back has sheer top with button and loop closure.
All buttons are fine, just didn't button them all.
HEAVY dress! About 8 pounds.
Excellent condition.
