This is the first time in 20 years that I have come across a piece like this.
Truly breathtaking.
Slip part of the dress is made of silk; hand stitched and finished in french seams.
Snap closure at the side.
The scarf overly is the finest open weave lace.
Trimmed in silk with weighted balls at the points of the scarf.
Snaps at the shoulders and down one side.
Panels of lace attach at the waist and flow down the skirt; longer on the sides.
This is an amazing dress and I believe it is sturdy enough for light wear; ceremony, photos, posing. If you are planning on dancing until dawn, maybe best change into something else.
Very good condition. Straps have been replaced. There are a lot of snaps. All have been reinforced. This area has received the most stress over time and is the most delicate area of the dress. We have reinforced it. Shadow from previous hem.
